The Women’s Ministry at Crossroads welcomes ladies of all ages and stages. Connect with other women through weekly Bible studies, prayer, retreats, luncheons, mission projects, and more.

The CBC Women’s Ministry nurtures the women of our church and our community to help them grow into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ; single-minded in purpose and undivided in heart. That’s why God’s Word is at the heart of all our ministry.

TUESDAY MORNING - Beginning August 19, 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Childcare is available for Tuesday morning Bible studies by preregistration. Preregister online now to ensure a spot for your child at just $10 per semester. Act fast – registration closes on August 6.​​

The Extraordinary Names of God (by  Vicki Mullins). Get to know your God more intimately through an in-depth look at some of the names of God. In the ancient world, names did more than distinguish one person from another, they often conveyed the essential nature and character of a person. In the Bible, God’s character is revealed through His names, which will help you experience Him in fresh and deeper ways. This study covers six names – some familiar and others lesser known, but all perfectly describing an aspect of who He is at His core.

Walking By Faith: Lessons Learned in the Dark (by Jennifer Rothchild). As a teen, Jennifer Rothchild confronted two unshakable realities: Blindness is inevitable, and God is enough. Though she lost her eyesight, but she gained something much more valuable ... spiritual insight. This Bible study contrasts walking by faith with walking by sight. This study will be led by Teresa Champion. Cost: $11.00.

Revelation (by Jen Wilkins). The book of Revelation overflows with images and ideas that confound our modern ears. Discover how the last book of the Bible—the culmination of God’s great story—speaks both a steadying word of assurance and a strong call to endure to the church in every age This study will be led by Lesa Grantham. Learn how your vulnerability is not a liability, because you can trust the Shepherd’s goodness throughout each season of life. This study will be led by Bobbie Perkins and Lilly Minor. Cost: $22.00.

Breathe: Making Room for the Sabbath (by Priscilla Shirer). One of the greatest challenges today is bondage to busyness. By neglecting time for tranquility, serenity, and repose, we limit our Christlikeness and miss out on some of God’s greatest gifts. In the Old Testament, the Sabbath was given to the Israelites as a gift, and it is still a gift to us today. If you are weary, worn out, and exhausted, the concept of Sabbath will change your life.  Cost: $13.00.

Discover who God intends for us to be, leading to freedom and purpose as we follow His will and are conformed to His image. This study will be led by Jennifer Gay. Cost: $9.00.

WEDNESDAY EVENING - Beginning August 20, 6:00 – 7:30 PM.  

Really Bad girls of the Bible (by Liz Curtis Higgs) – Meet “shady ladies” from Scripture and discover the godly lessons they can teach us! God rules the lives of those He loves with mercy, compassion, and hope. Learn about eight flawed females whose stories reveal that no matter how far we fall, God’s grace, compassion, and love can redeem our mistakes. This study will be led by Julie Smith. Cost: $10.00.

PRECEPT STUDY- LEVITICUS: Living Out a Biblical World View (by Kay Arthur). What do sacrifices, priesthood, and feasts teach us about how we can be holy and worship God properly? This study will help you understand the relationship between the Old and New Testaments. Led by: Ruth Ann Shelton. Cost: $22.00.

THURSDAY MORNING - Beginning Mid-September, 10:00  AM – 12:00 PM. 

LeAnn Allen’s BIBLE STUDY: Seeing Struggles as Stepping Stones. LeAnn will teach a Bible study on 1 and 2 Peter at her home from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM beginning in mid-September. (Date and cost: TBA).
